Business Process Specialist 
We're looking for a Business Process Specialist to join our Operational Excellence team within Digital Transformation. This role plays a critical part in understanding and improving business operations by analyzing current-state processes, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and recommending actionable improvements. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating operational requirements into clear, process-driven insights that inform system design, automation, and transformation initiatives. The key responsibilities for this role include: 
  • Analyze and document processes using ARIS and Microsoft tools to understand current state, pinpoint inefficiencies, and visualize desired future state.
  • Recommend improvements and automations leveraging Microsoft 365 and Power Platform to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement and enable adoption of changed processes with stakeholders; ensure correct usage and sustained change through monitoring and coaching.
  • Monitor performance of processes with appropriate metrics/KPIs; assess outcomes and iterate to achieve targeted results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (business, IT, risk) to ensure solutions meet regulatory and member experience requirements.
  • Champion a process-first mindset and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in a process-improvement methodology (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Certified Process Manager).
  • 3–5 years in business analysis (financial services experience an asset), and 1–3 years implementing workflows and efficiencies.
  • Technical: Strong understanding of the Microsoft environment; proficiency with process-modeling tools (e.g., ARIS).
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; strong time management; growth mindset; ability to dive into details while connecting to the big picture.
  • Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions.
  • Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI).
