Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of equipment including:

  • Compact construction (skid steers, loaders)
  • Material handling (forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts)
  • Commercial lawn (mowers, sprayers, etc.)
  • Snow equipment (snow plows, sanders)

The role involves maintaining and repairing customers' equipment, including lubrication, servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and assembling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete the requested maintenance tasks and repairs (including troubleshooting) as per the Work Order.
  • Record parts used and a brief description of work completed on the Work Order.
  • Advise the Parts Department of parts required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Complete all work in a safe manner, and promptly notify a supervisor of any safety concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must be physically capable of routine manual labor components of the position, which may include heavy lifting and maneuvering within or around large equipment.
  • Candidate must provide hand tools up to 1 inch / 27mm.
  • A successful candidate will require steel-toe safety shoes.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Please note that we are not on a bus route.

Working Hours/Week:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
