Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models Gather and analyze business requirements translate them into technical BI solutions

• Develop efficient DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs

• Build and optimize data models using star snowflake schema concepts

• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, etc.)

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage access control

• Schedule dataset refreshes and monitor report performance

• Work with stakeholders to iterate and improve dashboards based on feedback

• Maintain documentation and follow BI best practices and governance standards

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling

• Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, performance tuning)

• Experience working with large datasets and complex data models

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

• Experience with security features such as RLS

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills"

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 130,000 Per Year
