Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, roofing, and electrical work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. The will be responsible for executing a wide range of tasks that require technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position is essential for ensuring quality craftsmanship and timely project completion.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work with precision.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, siding, and other finishing elements according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, roofing repairs, siding installation, and general carpentry tasks.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical installations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and uphold quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site using schematics and technical manuals to identify solutions promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related fields.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, siding, and drywall work.
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics or technical guides.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Maintenance Person experience or background in restoration projects is a plus.
- Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel.
