Job Overview

Duties

  • Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Inspect vehicles regularly for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and compliance documentation
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight transportation or logistics companies
  • Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred
  • Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for routine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling and vehicle operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $300.00-$508.52 per day
