GFL Environmental is growing, and we're looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Vaughan. In this role, you'll design, deploy, and support secure network solutions that drive our enterprise operations. We're looking for a hands-on professional who thrives on solving complex challenges and collaborating across teams.

What You'll Do

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, access points)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on network design and deployment
  • Architect, implement, and support network and security solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues (L3+ support)
  • Maintain network documentation and mentor team members
  • Support after-hours deployments and site modifications

What You Bring

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in network design and implementation
  • Certifications such as NSE4+, CCNA+ (CCNP/NSE7 an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with AWS/Azure networking, firewalls, IAM, and automation scripting
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
