Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety standards. Applicants should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of reading schematics to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues efficiently.

Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
  • Conduct inspections to identify system malfunctions or inefficiencies
  • Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and ductwork
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for system installation and repairs
  • Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades
  • Utilize mechanical skills in welding or plumbing as needed for system modifications or repairs
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in HVAC systems installation and maintenance
  • Strong mechanical knowledge including boiler systems, appliance repair, and general maintenance procedures
  • Skilled in plumbing, welding, and working with schematics for troubleshooting complex systems
  • Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment effectively
  • Mechanic experience is highly desirable for diagnosing issues efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.02-$40.00 per hour
