The Server will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and promoting our menu offerings through excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling menu items
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and guests
  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not required
  • Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and kitchen operations is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
