Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Canadian Patent and Trademark Agent based in Vancouver, BC. The selected individual will be responsible for handling all aspects of building and managing Canadian patent and trademark portfolios, including drafting and filing patent and trademark applications, while working alongside our US patent and trademark agents. Day-to-day tasks include conducting detailed patentability assessments, drafting patent and trademark applications, responding to office actions and providing legal advice on intellectual property law. Collaboration with clients from diverse technology fields is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Canadian registration as a Patent and Trademark Agent is required
  • Expertise in patent and trademark drafting and prosecution
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with technology-focused clients is a strong asset

Salary

Salary to be negotiated with qualified candidates. Range of $80,000 CAD - $150,000.
