We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various types of cabinets according to design specifications, ensuring high quality and precision in every piece produced. The Cabinet Assembler will work closely with other team members and follow all safety protocols to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools based on project specifications.
- Inspect completed cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Set up and operated woodworking machinery and hand tools, including table saws, jointers, planers, routers, and sanders.
- Assemble cabinet components using precise measurements and joinery techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in cabinet assembly or woodworking.
- Completion of training program or apprenticeship is an asset
- Knowledge of various woodworking tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to work with a variety of materials.
- Ability to lift materials (up to 50lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
