Industrial Seamstress – Burnaby, BC

The Role:

Our Production Team is looking for a Sewer to support in the creation of Made-In-Canada Watson gloves & items.  Reporting to the Production Manager, you will bring your passion for quality product, details and team work to ensure that day-to-day production is operating on-time, accurately and efficiently – all while delivering exceptional customer service.  This role will support Watson Gloves' overall corporate mission of elevating the glove industry with innovative and sustainable protection by protecting the people who work with us, the customers who buy from us and our environment in which we live.  At Watson Gloves we do all of this in a fun and family-oriented environment. 

Role Details:

Full-time, Permanent, Unionized position after probation

Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Location: Burnaby, BC

Pay rate: $21.39/hr

YOUR core responsibilities:

  • Learning and retaining knowledge of the assembling of glove parts

  • Sewing product to meet quality standards

  • Meeting production output expectations

What YOU BRING to Watson Gloves:

  • Experience with industrial equipment

  • Experience sewing leather is an asset

  • Able to use a walking foot sewing machine
