Our Asset Integrity Management Team in Fort McMurray, AB is kicking off our recruitment efforts for API Inservice Inspectors for Fall 2026, with an expected timeline of September - October
Performing inspection activities potentially at heights on plant equipment, pressure vessels and piping, as outlined in the inspection test planProducing detailed reports of inspections, clearly identifying the scope and any defects or inconsistencies foundPreparing and maintaining all inspection records and procedures in accordance with the client's inspection programRaising identified deficiencies requiring additional inspection or repair within the turnaround window immediatelyComplying with all client and regulatory codes, standards, and procedures in the execution of workAdopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with HSSE policies and industry standardsWhat we think you should have?
A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Inservice Inspector in Refinery, Upgrader, Utilities or Bitumen Production Unit with an in-depth knowledge of ABSA requirements for Inservice Equipment, or an equivalent combination of certification and experience. Required Certifications: API 510 / 570 visual inspection certificationAsset Certifications: API 653, ABSA Inservice Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector (IBPV) , ABSA Inservice Pressure Vessel Inspector (IPV) Pressure, Equipment Safety Legislation(PESL) certification, CWB IICurrent certifications for all mandatory safety training, or be willing to complete at own expenseMust meet qualifications required for site access including Drug and Alcohol ScreeningProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office SuiteMust be legally permitted to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or possess valid work permit)Required to be fit for work, including physical ability to work at heights, or enter confined spaces.Interested?
