Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Java Backend Developer
to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have
strong hands-on backend development expertise
, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an onsite team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
  • Work with microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
  • Integrate backend services with databases and external systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6-8+ years of hands-on experience as a
    Java Backend Developer
    .
  • Must have experience in
    Node.JS (for backend)
  • Strong proficiency in
    Core Java
    ,
    Spring / Spring Boot
    , and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with
    Microservices Architecture
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    SQL / Relational Databases
    (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Financial/Banking domain.
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools.
