Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various legal areas including insurance law, environmental law, RSLA, civil litigation and tribal law & regulations. This role involves representing clients in complex legal disputes, conducting thorough legal research, and providing strategic legal advice. The Litigation Lawyer will utilize advanced legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw and demonstrate excellent writing and legal drafting skills to support case preparation and courtroom proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload across multiple practice areas.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research platforms to support case strategy.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and depositions.
  • Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, and applicable laws.
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations across various areas of law.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare for trials and hearings effectively.
  • Stay current on evolving laws and regulations relevant to practice areas including tribal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with active bar membership.
  • Proven experience in litigation with a strong background in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, or tribal law preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Excellent writing skills with a focus on legal drafting and administrative experience in a law office setting.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients in various legal forums.
  • Prior experience handling complex cases involving multiple jurisdictions or specialized fields is highly desirable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
