Job Summary:

The primary responsibility will be to administer the Sales intake and outtake requirements for customer orders, bid documents/quotations and scheduling. Additionally, the responsibility to lead marketing activities independently such as print and digital flyers, SEO, website development, social media and research. Training will be provided by the Customer Service Manager. The CSM will also work closely with this person to ensure support and effective collaboration with the entire team at Protectolite.

This position includes project work which will lead to the improvement of process workflow, sales analytics and general business knowledge. There may be additional work assigned, depending on the workload at Protectolite. The goal of this role is to enhance the growth of the Protectolite brand while continuing to provide excellent and timely service to existing customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers according to their needs.
  • Input Customer Orders and Schedule Accordingly
  • Draft quotations for Outside Salespeople. Issue quotations for regular customers
  • Catalogue, record and manage list pricing of regular products. Issue updated Price Lists
  • Catalogue, file and record quotations, orders and office documentation.
  • Perform FOH "Front of House" duties for office visitors and manage phone line
  • Create, implement and lead marketing endeavors such as product literature and promotional videos
  • Regularly update, improve enhance and advance Protectolite Website and LinkedIn
  • Organize, coordinate salesperson travel schedule, trade show calendar
  • Communicate with customers, agents, and operators to ensure scope of work is accurate and complete.
  • Participate in production scheduling meeting to help with the priorities at Protectolite
  • Learn how composite products are designed & manufactured.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Job Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • 2+ years' experience in a customer service-related role, manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • 1+ year experience in marketing/creative role
  • Proficiency in MS Suite of Products
  • Confidence to speak clearly on the phone and in virtual meetings
  • Excellent English reading & writing skills.
  • Ability to learn how composites products are designed & manufactured
  • Ability to learn new skills and adopt best practices

Education:

  • University Degree from an accredited 4-year program – Arts, Business, Social or Natural Science and Engineering.
  • Or 3 Year College Diploma in Business Administration, including Marketing

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Highly Organized, Disciplined and Detailed.
  • Confident, strong interpersonal skills, motivated to get the job done, timely & efficient.
  • Able to work within a Team which includes design engineers, project managers & manufacturing production staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of Computer Systems
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks, prioritize.
  • French proficiency is an asset but not required.
  • Spanish proficiency is an asset but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
