Job Summary
In accordance with provincial legislation and our commitment to transparent hiring practices, the compensation range for this position is provided. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Canadian work experience is not required. Please note that artificial intelligence tools are utilized in the applicant screening process.

Pay Range is $44,600 to $59,500.

As a Lobby Ambassador, you will make our visitors feel welcomed and comfortable while also maintaining security awareness, managing a variety of front-desk tasks such as answering phone calls and managing meeting calendars.

We are seeking a friendly and professional Lobby Ambassador to manage our lobby reception area. In this role, you will greet guests, direct them to the appropriate offices or personnel, and provide general administrative support. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people, we would like to meet you.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Lobby Ambassador, RBC, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in the lobby area and present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
  • Manage visitor access, checking in guests or clients and directing them to their meeting or appointment while maintaining security awareness
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Security team as required
  • Liaise with Corporate Security in matters of incident management, client interactions, and general duties.
  • Support the concierge team by addressing guest needs and providing information about local attractions or events
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and crisis management scenarios, while ensuring that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed.
  • Ability to manage and deescalate conflicts and incidents and demonstrate assertive decision making while maintaining security awareness.
  • Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all time.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when troubleshooting issues or escalating security concerns.

  • Prior experience as a Lobby Ambassador, Receptionist, or similar role
  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • At least 2 years of hospitality or security personnel experience in a Commercial/Corporate environment is preferred
  • Effective communication (written and oral ), multi-tasking ,organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Have computer skills to operate site specific technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills with conflict management ability.
