The right candidate has a background in concepting big ideas with other creatives, knows how to design for both digital and print, has experience presenting work to clients, has acute attention to detail, and is passionate about innovative design. 

The ideal candidate is a go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, designs with pixel-perfect precision, and is a team player. This is a fast-paced work environment, so attentiveness and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must. You're able to stay humble while showing off your creative thinking, and will help us maintain an environment that encourages expression, inclusivity, and collaboration.

• Produce high-quality visual designs for: digital campaigns, microsites, landing pages, social media, presentations, video, animation, and more 
• Communicate ideas and designs to senior members of the creative team 
• Partner with copywriters 
• Wow clients with presentation skills 
• Provide oversight and design direction to production designers 
• Maintain consistent creative quality and become a brand expert Senior Art Director at Monks SF 
• Be a standard-bearer for our company culture and values 

• A beautiful online portfolio of digital work—print work is a plus 
• 5-7 years experience working at an agency or in-house creative services team  
• Expert competency with digital design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch–Figma being the primary UI tool of choice 
• Illustration and storyboarding skills required 
• Animation design and being comfortable working and directing motion team 
• Vast experience designing for social media platforms 
• Expert knowledge of typography and design layout 
• Solid comprehension of UX/UI principles and their applications across the web, email, and beyond 
• Rigorous attention to detail 
• Ability to work through multiple iterations and to work quickly 
• Ability to accept and receive constructive design feedback from seniors members of the creative team 
• Is an excellent collaborator with the team 
• Ability to work within brand style guides to produce work that is both original and on-brand 
• Demonstrating good communication skills, both verbal and listening abilities
