Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, efficiently handle transactions, and contribute to a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in restaurants are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS systems
  • Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
  • Be a menu expert, including upselling relevant items
  • Maintain clean dining area and look after done in guests
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures for cash handling and sales documentation
  • Support store cleanliness and organization to enhance the dining environment
  • Assist cooks with prep and washing dishes

Experience

  • Previous experience in restaurants, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills is essential
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management are required to succeed in this role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
