The Activities and Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, launching, and sustaining a year-round schedule of guest activities, seasonal programming, value-driven packages, partnerships, and brand-aligned initiatives that elevate the Seaside Hotel experience. This role will directly help shift business guests into loyal leisure clientele, increase ADR through meaningful experiences, and bring our hotel, spa, and F&B concepts together into one cohesive offering.
This position requires a youthful, energetic, socially confident, fit, healthy and highly engaging personality who authentically embodies the lifestyle our brand promotes
Key Responsibilities:
Experience & Activity Programming (Core Focus)
- Design, launch, and maintain a weekly schedule of guest activities (e.g., Yoga on the Pier, guided hikes, seawall runs, workshops, spa mini-classes, culinary activations).
- Ensure every scheduled activity is executed professionally, regardless of attendance, to build consistency and brand reliability.
- Source, vet, and schedule local professionals (yoga instructors, guides, facilitators)
- Oversee logistics: guest sign-ups, waivers, transportation, mats and gear, hydration/juice/oat bars, etc.
Brand Programming & Partnerships
- Identify and develop authentic partnerships with local businesses, wellness practitioners, and experience providers to create branded Seaside guest experiences.
- Work with the Spa and F&B teams to integrate activities with room packages, brunch/dinner/spa bundles, and seasonal promotions.
Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with the leadership team to position Seaside as a must-visit boutique hotel + spa destination.
- Ensure our websites activity/experience section is updated with clear program schedules, imagery, and engaging information
- Support content creation for social media, digital ads, newsletters, and in-room messaging to highlight weekly experiences.
- Assist with selling and promoting special stay packages
- Track guest participation trends and provide reporting that supports growth and ADR improvements.
Guest Touchpoints & Brand Moments
- Introduce yourself to all high-paying hotel guests particularly those guests staying in the Oceanview suites. Provide a highly personalized arrival experience. Market the Spa, suggesting available services, also suggest other services and experiences.
- Support the creation of thoughtful fitness/wellness-aligned in-room amenities for leisure guests (e.g., green juices, healthy treats, trail mixes).
- Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue to bundle branded merchandise into weekend packages or themed stay offers.
- Ensure every experience reflects our core brand values
Cross-Department Coordination
- Work closely with Spa, F&B, and Front Office to ensure alignment, smooth operations, and consistent delivery of guest experiences.
Train internal teams on the program and ensure staff understand activities, talking points, and promotional opportunities.
Qualification:
- Background in sales, guest activities, hospitality programming, or experiential marketing.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, fit, healthy, and aligned with a wellness-forward lifestyle.
- Naturally social with strong charisma and an approachable guest-centric personality.
- Strong organizational and planning skills; thrives in a hands-on, operational role.
- Experience building partnerships or coordinating events/activities is a strong asset.
- Creative thinker capable of bringing new ideas that elevate guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends or early mornings as needed for scheduled experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
