One of Millenilink's clients is hiring an Oracle ERP Cloud professional for a 6-month contract+ extension. The successful candidate must be specialized in Oracle Financials with specific specialization on Oracle Accounts Payables as well as Oracle Fixed Assets modules. Experience implementing as well as triaging and troubleshooting the solution against requirements will be what makes this individual successful. The role can be located anywhere in Canada and work primarily remote, however the end client's project is taking place in Calgary and the ability to travel once in a while to be there for troubleshooting and testing purposes is important.

The solution design and configuration for this stage of Phase 1 is complete and the successful Oracle Financials candidate will join as the Lead for the Accounts Payables workstream. The successful candidate must be client facing, have the ability to lead others within the work stream and communicate/fix discrepancies as they may occur through testing and integration with modules such as Oracle Projects and others. As a secondary responsibility, the individual will also support the Oracle Fixed Assets work stream and have the ability to refine complex user stories from the client, support the workstream lead during workshops and help create deliverables such as setting up capital lease accounting, leasing schedules, amortization relative to schedules and more. There are a total of 5 phases to this project and the successful individual will be retained throughout, therefore extension is highly likely the right candidate. In order to qualify for this opportunity candidates MUST have:

  • Experience leading the implementation and troubleshooting of Oracle Accounts Payables on Oracle Cloud including integrations with Oracle Projects
  • Experience leading workshops to gather user stories and requirements, creating solution design and implementing Oracle Fixed Assets on Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience implementing Oracle Fixed Assets for an asset heavy business (Oil & Gas, manufacturing, lumber mills etc.)
  • Experience with a tough client and complex user stories for Oracle Fixed Assets including setting up capital lease accounting, leasing schedules, amortization relative to payment schedules and more.
  • Ideally coming from a management consulting background with the ability to
    not strictly solution design, implement and troubleshoot, but advise on best practices for Oracle AP and Oracle Fixed Assets.
  • Ability to travel to Calgary when required at various stages in the project (expenses paid)
  • Proven experience creating excellent documentation, reporting and presentations
  • Ability to work with senior management in an advisory capacity
  • Understand the technical solution enough to challenge whether testing meets the business requirements for Oracle AP and Oracle Fixed Assets
