Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, passionate and dedicated Level Two or Three Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. We require this candidate to hold a level 5 drivers license minimum, class 4 would be preferred. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for Toddler children, fostering their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to actively engage with children in a way that promotes learning through play and exploration. While also fostering strong bonds of trust with parents and children.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves freely.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Utilize effective time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks.
  • Support children with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Do school drop offs and picks ups as needed

Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Education Diploma or related field preferred.
  • Experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire young learners.
  • Proficient in computer operation for record keeping and lesson planning purposes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities within the classroom setting.
  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.
  • Class 5 license with clean driving record
