Position Overview

As a bartender at the Sylvia Hotel, you will be the face of our bar, providing exceptional service to our guests while crafting delicious cocktails, serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in enhancing our guests' experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.

· Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

· Collaborate with the bar and kitchen teams to provide seamless service during peak hours.

· Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking and ordering supplies as needed.

· Stay updated on new trends in mixology and suggest creative additions to the cocktail menu.

· Manage cash and process payments accurately, following company guidelines.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced, high-quality establishment.

· Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.

· Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks.

· Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

· Possession of necessary certifications, such as Serving It Right (or regional equivalent).

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
