As a Millwright, you would be expected to:

  • Be able to take instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor
  • Able to work Shut Down work at various locations
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and installation operations
  • Work at elevations
  • Layout, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
  • Laser alignment of shaft coupling and bearings on pumps, motors, and drives
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Be able to work closely with the supervisor and trades

Requirements:

  • Must pay close attention to detail
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines,
  • Red Seal will be considered an asset
  • Energy Safety Canada Certificates in , Fall Protection and Aerial workplace platform, CSO, Telehandler and Confined Space Entry and Monitoring are a MUST have.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 2-4 months

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour

  • Millwright: 5 years (preferred)

  • Red Seal Certification (required)
  • ESC Fall Pro (required)
  • ECS Aerial Work Platform (required)
  • ESC Construction Safety Orientation (required)
  • ECS Telehandler (required)
  • ESC Confined Space Entry and monitoring (required)
