With a focus on continuous improvement, effective quality management and customer satisfaction, we are looking to add the services of a Quality Process Engineer.

Responsibility

The primary responsibility of the
Quality Process Engineer

is to uphold the quality of products while driving improvement in the manufacturing and support processes to ensure that all operations are effective and efficient and in compliance with the principles and objectives of our Quality Management System.

This is achieved this by employing various methodologies such as Six Sigma, Just In Time Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Lean Principles and will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and supply chain, to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Functions

Quality Management –

ensure that the quality plans and quality control processes are effective and efficient through the application of internal audits and review of product quality test results. Ensure that records of quality inspections, test and audits are maintained and used to drive improvement.

Root Cause Analysis:

Identifying the underlying causes of defects or quality issues and developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence in collaboration with the technical customer support team, product development team and operations personnel.

Process Improvement:

Analyzing both production and support process workflows to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the quality management system. This will include lean implementation and Just In Time principles for manufacturing and procurement.

Customer Satisfaction:

Engage with customers to understand their quality expectations and addressing any concerns related to product or service quality in collaboration with the technical customer support team, product development team and operations personnel.

Supply Chain Management

  • work closely with suppliers to ensure that quality standards are upheld throughout the supply chain and that products are delivered Just In Time.. This includes conducting audits, assessments, and training programs to align key suppliers with the organization's quality objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Engineering or Quality Assurance and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing company.

Previous experience with ISO 9001:2015 is a must and experience with ISO 9004:2018 would be an advantage.
