What is the Opportunity?
We are on the lookout for a talented Lead Cloud Engineer to join our forward-thinking team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud solutions. This role will focus on building and enhancing cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence. As a crucial member of our team, you will leverage cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure, and explore AI-driven solutions to optimize cloud operations and enhance system performance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud strategy and enabling seamless application delivery across our organization.

What will you do?

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Integrate AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance automation, optimize resource utilization, and improve operational efficiency across cloud environments.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to maintain high availability, monitor system performance, and implement robust incident response processes.
  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring seamless orchestration and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD processes, ensuring efficient and secure application deployments to cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and implement AI-driven solutions to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Develop automated testing and monitoring frameworks to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based systems.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to document technical processes and share knowledge across the organization.
  • Keep up with emerging cloud technologies, AI advancements, and industry trends to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure and engineering practices.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure design, or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in AWS and/or Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud solutions on AWS and Azure.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker, with a strong understanding of orchestration and cluster management.
  • Strong knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with AI tools and frameworks, including the ability to leverage AI for predictive analytics, automation, and operational improvements.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with multi-cloud strategies and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration in cloud environments, including the use of AI for anomaly detection, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript, with a focus on automation and scripting.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest cloud and AI technologies.
