Description:
Emergency Sessional Instructional Assistant - MAT236H5S Vector Calculus. The implicit function theorem, vector fields. Transformations. Parametrized integrals. Line, surface and volume integrals. Theorems of Gauss and Stokes with applications.
Dates of Appointment: 01 Janaury April 2026
Qualifications: Strong grades in a minimum of 3.0 FCEs of mathematics courses, including at least 1.0 FCEs of primarily proof-based courses. Note that "MAT-like" courses offered in different.
Teaching experience preferred
Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
Duties: Will include some of the following: running tutorials, marking, invigilation, office hours, preparatory work, and other duties of administering the course.
Estimated course enrolment: 200 students
Rate of Pay: $54.27 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
