Chief Branding Officer – Exploration & Scientific Discovery
About Canadian Adventure Charters (CAC)
Canadian Adventure Charters is not just an adventure travel company—it's a mission. We operate some of the most advanced research and expedition platforms in the world, including ice-class vessels, submersibles, underwater AI systems, helicopters, landing crafts, and all-terrain Sherps, to reach the planet's most remote and fragile environments
From polar shipwreck discoveries to real-time environmental science, cinematic storytelling, and humanitarian response, CAC's work is driven by scientific integrity, global impact, and deep partnerships with conservation leaders, Indigenous knowledge holders, and elite storytelling platforms
Role Overview
As the Chief Branding Officer – Exploration & Scientific Discovery, you will be the visionary architect of CAC's global brand narrative. You will craft and amplify a bold and inspirational identity that connects frontier science, elite corporate partnerships, and unforgettable adventure into a cohesive, iconic experience, positioned at the edge of the map, where real change begins.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Vision
- Develop a powerful, aspirational brand strategy that positions CAC at the intersection of luxury, exploration, science, and environmental stewardship.
- Shape the brand narrative to resonate with Fortune 500 corporations, UHNW individuals, global media, and scientific institutions.
- Cross-Platform Storytelling
- Guide the creation of compelling content, from documentaries and media partnerships to immersive digital storytelling, that showcases CAC's missions, innovations, and impact.
- Collaborate with filmmakers, scientists, Indigenous communities, and researchers to deliver authentic, resonant narratives.
- Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Lead alliance-building with global brands, climate science institutions, media networks, and elite cultural entities to enhance CAC's visibility and credibility.
- Align brand identity with strategic initiatives such as the Arctic Mega Port Hub and expedition campaigns in the Northwest Passage
- Market Positioning & Growth
- Elevate CAC's positioning in luxury adventure, expedition, and scientific research markets by developing high-level corporate outreach strategies.
- Oversee brand consistency across digital platforms, charter products, investor communications, and VIP client experiences.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary branding team, spanning marketing, media production, communications, and design, to deliver globally impactful campaigns.
- Partner closely with CAC's executive leadership to ensure brand strategies reflect mission, operational excellence, and long-term goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record (10+ years) in senior-level brand leadership—especially within sectors like luxury travel, scientific exploration, conservation, or high-end lifestyle media.
- Exceptional expertise in building aspirational, purpose-driven brands that resonate across elite corporate, scientific, and cultural audiences.
- Experience forging partnerships with global institutions, media producers, conservation NGOs, or Fortune 500 brands.
- Deep understanding of inclusive narrative-building that weaves Indigenous knowledge, environmental protection, and frontier exploration.
- Strong storytelling skills across both digital and broadcast media landscapes.
- Excellent leadership capabilities, with experience guiding high-performing creative and strategic teams.
- Passion for exploration, innovation, environmental stewardship, and education.
Why This Role Matters
This is more than a branding role, it's the chance to shape how the world understands and values frontier exploration, scientific discovery, and environmental legacy.
You'll build a movement that inspires global action, attracts strategic partnerships, and transports audiences to the edge of the map, where adventure, innovation, and purpose converge. With CAC's unparalleled expedition capabilities and your visionary leadership, you'll redefine what a global brand can achieve.
Application
If you're ready to bring the world's most daring explorations to life, through narrative, strategy, and partnership, submit your resume, a visionary cover letter (showcasing your brand leadership), and examples of your work to
