Best Brains of Brampton McVean, a learning center, is currently hiring enthusiastic, part-time certified teachers to teach Math and English to students ranging from 3-14 years old.

Job features:

  • Small Class sizes.
  • No lesson planning.
  • Everything needed while teaching is provided in the student booklets.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct small group tutoring sessions with students.
  • Provide instruction to students of grades JK-12 in English or Math
  • Utilize computerized resources and educational software to enhance learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance.

MUST HAVE Availability:

You must be available all of the following days and times:

  • Tuesdays: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Wednesdays: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Thursdays: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Saturdays: 10:00 am to 1:10 pm

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) will be preferred.
  • Degree in Education or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Able to work part-time and independently.
