Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall upkeep of our organization's premises through reliable and efficient service.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry and trash removal
  • Maintain cleanliness of our facility's common areas by inspecting and addressing areas that require attention
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and maintained in good working order according to pr
  • Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold sanitation standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably with commercial cleaning or facilities
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, following SOPs and safety procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to scheduled routines
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and consistency in completing assigned tasks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
