The Glengarry Inter-Agency Group is looking for a friendly and professional individual to fill a position as an Early ON Program Custodian - Cornwall, ON.

Duties:

- Perform general custodial duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility including cleaning and disinfecting equipment used by the program clients

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills

- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches

- Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas

- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary

- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and report any issues or concerns
