Position Title: Line Cook
Location: Durty Nelly's, Halifax, NS
Job type: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Salary Range: $ $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality restaurant group consists of Durty Nelly's Authentic Irish Pub, Stubborn Goat Gastropub, the Beer Garden, Saltyard Social, The Rooftop and Antojo Tacos + Tequila. Located in the heart of Downtown Halifax we have been Serving up legendary hospitality experiences since 2008.

Job Description
Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for Line Cooks to join our team at Durty Nelly's. We are looking for passionate hard working individuals to join our back of house teams. Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- Cooks food items by various cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
- Have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus
- Have a thorough knowledge specials or promotions
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and food safety policies
- Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
About you
- 1+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset but not necessary
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced english language skills
Work Environment
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, stairs and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours
Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
