**Position Title**: Maintenance Worker

**Location**: Durty Nelly's, Halifax, NS

**Job type**: Part-time

**Salary Range**: $16.00- $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax is looking for a part-time maintenance worker to join our team at Durty Nelly's. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join our team. With core values focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve, we are looking for like-minded individuals.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, wiping down surfaces etc.
- Perform minor repairs, filling gaps on walls, sanding/staining tables, etc.
- Assist in the install appliances and equipment
- Do planter, patio, and exterior upkeep
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Assist GM with functionality of safety systems and general Occupational Health and Safety
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report the General Manager and other members of the management team

**About you**
- 1+ years experience an asset
- Must have functional knowledge or experience in a similar position
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced english language skills

**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
