Candidates with hospital experience, especially in acute care or pediatrics, will find this role particularly rewarding.

Duties

  • Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to enhance patient care quality.

Requirements

  • Valid license or registration as a Physiotherapist in the respective jurisdiction.
  • Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially in acute care settings or pediatrics.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
  • Proven experience in patient care with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.
  • Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress. This role is integral to delivering high-quality healthcare services aimed at improving patients' quality of life through expert physiotherapy interventions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,271.09-$149,789.50 per year

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
