Description

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring a variety of human resource programs. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management. Responsibilities are within the Human Resources Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Partner with business in administration and interpretation of Human Resources policies, programs and procedures,
  • Liaise and collaborate with Human Resources Centres of Excellence to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries
  • Work on specific projects with HR and Business Leaders concerning various HR needs
  • Assist and support in resolving employee relation issues; investigations, research documentation, and provide recommendations to HRBP/HRD,
  • Generate reports and statistics and communicate information to appropriate HR and managers on a timely basis,
  • Maintain corporate culture of excellence and enforce company's key values
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in the Human Resources field or supporting a Human Resources function
  • Post-secondary education in HR or related field
  • Unwavering commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality, exercising good judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and matters
  • Flexibility in dealing with multiple time-sensitive issues and rapidly changing priorities while maintaining focus and effectiveness
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
