We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Part time and full time options available. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to grow their skills in the food industry and contribute to a dynamic restaurant atmosphere. ADDITIONAL opportunities include working and learning on site at large scale events.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety practices.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Requirements

***A VALID G LICENSE IS REQUIRED AS OUR FACILITY IS NOT ON ANY CITY BUS ROUTES.***

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences.
