Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in production. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, sensors, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Install and configure new machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
