Duties

- Operate and monitor various cold heading machines in a manufacturing environment

- Set up machines according to specifications and blueprints

- Load and unload materials for machines

- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during machine operation

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills

- Experience operating cold heading equipment would be an asset but not required

  • A high school diploma is required and a college diploma in a mechanical technician/technologist program or an acceptable equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with using hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for precise measurements an asset but not required
  • Forklift certificate would be an asset but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.08-$30.87 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
