Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery, including CNC machines, to produce high-quality products. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, precision measurement skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The Machine Operator will play a critical role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining safety standards, and supporting quality control initiatives within our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing machinery.
  • Set up machines according to specifications, standards, and tooling instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections during production runs to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Adjust machine parameters through controls to optimize performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and packaging operations as needed.
  • Document production data accurately for quality control and process improvement purposes.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery.
  • Familiarity with HMI controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Hands-on experience with tooling setup, materials handling and quality control techniques preferred.
  • Prior warehouse or factory experience involving the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and machine settings required for precise fabrication tasks. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
