Position: Room Attendant

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper

The Magnolia Hotel & Spa is Victoria's luxury spa boutique hotel. Current Openings

We are currently seeking two positions:

  • 1 Full-Time (32–40 hours per week), permanent position
  • Applicants should have full availability, including weekends and statutory holidays.
  • Typical working hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., with shift start times varying.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to hotel procedures and standards. The role may also include assisting in other areas of the housekeeping department, such as laundry and public-area cleaning.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Personable and friendly with guests and colleagues, eager to learn service standards expected in a 4- to 5-star environment.
  • Previous cleaning and/or upscale hotel experience preferred.
  • Physically capable of performing housekeeping and janitorial duties, including regular bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
