This position will be responsible for completing tasks to uniforms and clothing including:

  • Read and accurately identify the customer's needs per the Work Instruction Document.
  • Take necessary measurements and mark garments for alterations with ability to solve individual sizing issues
  • Perform uniform sewing, alterations and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency to include taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, applying striping, and applying patches.
  • Operate industrial sewing machine
  • Meet production and quality standards
  • Apply safety precautions and standard operating procedures
  • Prompt and reliable attendance
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Sewing Lead

Other responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate with team members through on-going projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
