SUMMARY

We have an exciting career opportunity for a full-time fish cutter to become part of our growing team We are looking for individuals who can process seafood products so that they are ready for sale, have a passion for seafood preparation and strong understanding of food safety practices.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday to Thursday from 10AM to 7PM AND Sundays from 8AM to 5PM

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Scale fish efficiently and effectively.

· Assist in the packaging of fish products.

· Receive and store fish in accordance with established standards.

· Sanitize work area and properly handle products to adhere to food safety and health & safety standards.

· Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

· Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

· Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.

· Previous fish scaling experience is an asset.

· Knowledgeable of food safety practices.

· Basic math skills for measuring and weighing fish.

· Available to work Monday to Thursday from 10AM to 7PM and Sundays from 8AM to 5PM.

· Can lift up to 50 Ibs.

· Able to stand and work for extended periods of time in a refrigerated and wet environment.

· Able to receive and follow instructions.
