Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will be engaging, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves interacting with guests, assisting with inquiries, and supporting the overall operation of our facility. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or customer service are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and facilitate communication across diverse audiences.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide information about our services and amenities
- Assist visitors with inquiries using excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette
- Manage product demos and promote featured items through upselling techniques
- Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the retail area is organized and inviting
- Support sales efforts by engaging customers in product discussions and recommending options
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the guest area to create a welcoming environment
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Utilize organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technical sales is preferred
- Bilingual abilities (English and additional languages) are a strong advantage
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Experience with product demos or merchandising is a plus
- Multilingual candidates will be prioritized to better serve diverse guest populations
