We are currently looking for two

Mechanical Engineering Lead

As a Mechanical Engineering Lead, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex engineering programs, balancing leadership, customer engagement, and technical oversight. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal experts to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality solutions – on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities

· Lead, mentor, and guide assigned engineering teams, setting priorities, ensuring accountability for deliverables, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

· Establish communication plans and meeting rhythms to drive performance, collaboration, and alignment.

· Oversee the full engineering work scope to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, while tracking, reporting, and managing out-of-scope items.

· Prepare program inputs to resource planning, schedules, and budgets for review and approval by leadership.

· Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.

· Define and confirm work scopes with customers, ensuring clarity and risk mitigation.

· Manage supplier engagement, from quote requests through commitment to delivery.

· Adapt solutions to customer requirements while balancing technical feasibility and program objectives.

· Prepare and submit schedules for assigned program(s) based on defined resource planning, supplier(s) commitment and budget.

· Provide guidance and technical leadership to ensure quality and compliance of engineering deliverables.

· Conduct surveys and on-site support at customer facilities when required.

· Review, validate, and approve deliverables within the company's work scope.

· Document best practices and contribute to the development of engineering standards and processes, creating training materials as appropriate.

· Mentor team members to build capability and strengthen expertise.

Key qualifications

· University degree or acceptable combination of education and work experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering.

· Minimum of ten years of engineering experience of which five years is in the aviation industry.

· Experience in aircraft interiors, systems and certification is an asset.

· Experience in managing teams would be an asset.

· Proficient with CATIA V5 (Mechanical Design Workbench); experience in Generative Shape Design Workbench within CATIA V5 & 3DX PLM would be an asset.

· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

· Self-motivated, proactive, and able to guide both yourself and others (adaptability).

· Bilingual (French & English).

Compensation and Benefits

· Base salary: $100,000 to $140,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications

Chef Ingénierie mécanique

En tant que Chef Ingénierie mécanique, vous superviserez la livraison de programmes d'ingénierie complexes, en équilibrant leadership, l'engagement client et la supervision technique. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les experts internes pour planifier, exécuter et livrer des solutions de haute qualité – dans les délais et le budget impartis.

Responsabilités principales

· Diriger, encadrer et guider les équipes d'ingénierie assignées, définir les priorités, assurer la responsabilité des livrables et favoriser un environnement de travail positif et collaboratif

· Établir des plans de communication et des rythmes de réunions pour stimuler la performance, la collaboration et l'alignement

· Superviser l'ensemble du périmètre de travail d'ingénierie pour garantir la livraison dans les délais et le respect du budget, tout en suivant, rapportant et gérant les éléments hors périmètre

· Préparer les intrants du programme pour la planification des ressources, les calendriers et les budgets pour examen et approbation par la direction

· Servir de point de contact technique principal pour les clients et les fournisseurs

· Définir et confirmer les périmètres de travail avec les clients, en assurant la clarté et la gestion des risques

· Gérer l'engagement des fournisseurs, des demandes de devis à la livraison

· Adapter les solutions aux exigences des clients tout en équilibrant la faisabilité technique et les objectifs du programme

· Préparer et soumettre les calendriers pour les programmes assignés, selon la planification des ressources, l'engagement des fournisseurs et le budget

· Fournir des conseils et un leadership technique pour assurer la qualité et la conformité des livrables d'ingénierie

· Effectuer des enquêtes et un soutien sur site chez les clients lorsque requis

· Examiner, valider et approuver les livrables dans le périmètre de travail de l'entreprise

· Documenter les meilleures pratiques et contribuer au développement des normes et processus d'ingénierie, en créant des supports de formation au besoin

· Encadrer les membres de l'équipe pour renforcer les compétences et l'expertise

· Diplôme universitaire ou combinaison acceptable de formation et d'expérience en ingénierie aérospatiale ou mécanique

· Minimum de dix (10) ans d'expérience en ingénierie, dont cinq (5) ans dans l'industrie aéronautique

· Expérience dans les intérieurs d'aéronefs, les systèmes et la certification est un atout

· Expérience en gestion d'équipe serait un atout

· Maîtrise de CATIA V5 (Workbench de conception mécanique) ; expérience avec Generative Shape Design Workbench dans CATIA V5 et 3DX PLM serait un atout

· Solides compétences organisationnelles, en communication et en leadership

· Autonomie, proactivité et capacité à guider soi-même et les autres (adaptabilité)

· Bilingue (français et anglais)
