Who We Are:

Over The Hill Accounting & Tax Services is a small accounting company that has been offering bookkeeping, accounting and tax services to our clients since 1994.

We are currently looking for a part-time receptionist to join our office. We are looking for someone available 3 day per week from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

The starting wage is $18.00/hour.

Job Description:

· Greet and welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner

· Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take detailed messages when appropriate

· Schedule appointments

· Manage incoming and outgoing mail packages

· Manage incoming and outgoing emails

· Basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, ordering office supplies, scanning and emailing documents

· Put together tax returns and file them for pick up

· Sorting of files, preparing spreadsheets for expenses and some light data entry for various company files

Required Skills:

· Strong English required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask effectively

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and outlook

· Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism

· Must be punctual and reliable

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Regular Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. During March and April some overtime will be required to meet the personal tax deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
