Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport fluid across various routes. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Candidates with skills in fluid hauling are highly valued to support various logistical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
  • Assist with warehouse duties such as organizing freight, inventory management, and equipment operation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
  • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling

Skills

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely
  • Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
