Context

Systra Canada's finance team is looking for an enthusiastic intern to support them in their varied accounting activities and monthly closing, an exciting opportunity to learn and grow



Missions/Main Duties

  • Participate in monthly closing activities;
  • Perform various accounting tasks;
  • Perform analyses on balance sheet and income statement items;
  • Assist with joint venture accounting;
  • Assist with bank reconciliations;
  • Support other accounting team members and internal stakeholders;
  • Replace team members during vacations (Accounts Payable, General Accountant).


Profile/Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in administration or equivalent. CPA profile is an asset. 

Technical skills:

  • Mastery of the Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of the technical field of transportation (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Power BI (an asset);
  • Knowledge of Sage;
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in French and English*
