Overview

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently managing drink orders and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Candidates with experience in POS systems like Aloha and Micros, along with excellent time management and sales skills, will thrive in this position. The Bartender will play a vital role in ensuring guests have memorable experiences and return for future visits.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using various POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and processing payments accurately.
  • Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquets to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food safety, food handling, and beverage service in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or hospitality venues.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, banquet, or catering environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in serving, cash handling, retail math, basic math, and hospitality are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in food industry settings including food service, brewing, or retail environments will be considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required to ensure guest safety.
