Build the Teams That Build Neo

At Neo, our ambition is bold: reinvent how Canadians experience financial services through world-class technology, design, and execution. To do that, we are scaling a high-performing group of engineers, product builders, and technical leaders—and we're looking for a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner who is ready to play a defining role in that growth.

This isn't a traditional TA role — it's a chance to architect the future of our technical organization. You'll own our end-to-end technical hiring strategy, partner directly with senior leadership and our founding team, and build the talent engine that powers one of Canada's fastest-growing fintechs.

If you thrive in high-ownership environments, love influencing technical leaders, and want to build something meaningful—not just fill reqs—this role is built for you.

Why This Role Matters

You won't just support technical hiring—you will lead it. You'll operate as the strategic engine behind how our Tech teams scale, evolve, and strengthen. You'll be trusted to provide insight, challenge assumptions, and ensure our teams hire the right talent at the right time.

What You'll Own
  • Drive the full technical talent strategy for Product, Design, and Core Technology by owning the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle — from market mapping and pipeline creation to candidate evaluation, stakeholder coaching, and closing. You'll be accountable for quality of hire, hiring velocity, and equitable outcomes across all funnel stages.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to VPs and senior technical leaders, translating complex talent needs into actionable hiring strategies, influencing decisions with market intelligence, and elevating hiring capability across the organization.

  • Build and operationalize scalable recruiting systems, evaluating and implementing tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, surface insights, reduce bias, and improve decision-making — without compromising a human-centered candidate experience.

  • Lead talent intelligence efforts by analyzing funnel analytics, forecasting hiring demand, identifying risks, and presenting data-driven recommendations that improve hiring performance, conversion rates, and workforce planning accuracy.

  • Architect proactive and diverse pipeline strategies to ensure long-term, sustainable hiring success — including targeted sourcing campaigns, community partnerships, events, and engagement programs across underrepresented groups.

What You Bring
  • Proven experience leading full-cycle technical hiring in high-growth SaaS, with deep expertise in Product, Design, Engineering, and adjacent technical functions.

  • Strong track record managing complex requisitions at pace while maintaining exceptional quality of hire and candidate experience.

  • Data-literate and insight-driven, using funnel analytics, hiring trends, and talent insights to influence executives and guide decision-making.

  • A compelling communicator who can craft narrative, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

  • Relationship-builder who earns trust, operates with credibility, and acts as a business partner to senior leadership.
