Become an inspiring leader at Rona By applying your team management, problem-solving and coaching skills, you'll have a direct impact on every member of your team and on the performance of our distribution center.

Your role:

• Monitor team member performance to ensure they are executing assigned tasks safely, accurately, and as scheduled
• Assign work to team members while taking into account available hours, skill sets, and other resources to ensure operational targets are met
• Coach, counsel, and train team members to ensure competence, as well as prepare them for future opportunities
• Set team members up for success; achieve or exceed key performance indicators, as well as safety, performance, and budget targets; record daily performance metrics
• Promote safety in the work environment and ensure all safety rules are followed
• Resolve equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact Maintenance)
• Identify and assist in implementing process improvements
• Perform other duties as required

• Demonstrated team-building skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust with others
• Experience and willingness to mentor and coach others
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving
• Demonstrable knowledge of MS Office Software suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Ability to manage change well and remain positive in the face of change
• Ability to speak to large teams, communicate information, and listen effectively
• Experience creating and maintaining a Safety First culture
• Understanding of fulfillment/distribution centre/warehouse processes and flow
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required, and to move between shifts
• Any combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered
