We are currently hiring an experienced Laser Table Operator to join our Processing Division in Calgary. In this role, you'll operate advanced cutting equipment to produce high-precision steel parts that support projects across Canada.

Available Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC laser cutting equipment
  • Load, unload, and align steel plate for accurate cutting
  • Review drawings, cut lists, and nesting programs
  • Perform quality inspections using gauges and measuring tools
  • Handle material using overhead cranes and forklifts
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate maintenance needs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area
  • Work collaboratively with the Processing team to meet production goals

What You Bring:

  • Experience operating CNC laser or plasma cutting tables
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and cut files
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
